The only things you can possibly try is just removing the app and adding it back. I get lag on netflix like to the point where it hardly loads but thats usually a network issue, yours may be the same case.

Hard reset your Xbox. That should fix it.

If you haven't fixed this problem yet maybe I can help. I recently had the same problem, and mine was at the point where when I started the Netflix app my Xbox One would freeze. And the way I fixed it was by switching HDMI ports on my TV. Went from HDMI 2 to HDMI 1.. Don't know how that worked but it did. Hope this helps you.
