So I will be getting gigabit internet installed at my house very soon and i wanted to know if my PC can take full potential of it. I seen a windows 7 tutorial but it isn't helpful.

-Im on Windows 10
-PC is from 2009 (I think)

Thanks for the help

2009, very much doubt it's capable of gigabit inline.

More than likely you'll need to get a gigabit network card and plug ethernet cable(s) into that. You'll also want to be using CAT6 ethernet cable(s) aswell.

Okay, thanks for the help but wouldn't CAT 5e also be good enough for gigabit internet?
