If this is such an issue, why does Xbox allow messages and chat at all? If they thought people would abuse it, why would they keep it?

There are also settings for kids accounts to restrict messages to friends only and voice chat to only friends.

I understand why you're upset. But you have to understand that you have reparations for what you do. Instead of cussing him out/acting harshly towards someone who did bad(Why did you rage against him? I call that show boating, even if he was mean), you could have just reported him and got him banned for the 7 days instead of you.

LMAO, this has happened to me twice ever since I started to play on the XB1 alot more. This is crazy dumb, first is was a 2 day communication ban, then a 14 day communication ban, for "smack talking" when I was spammed and called many derogatory words. XBL Enforcement Team is on some shit.

Umm, games can be rated M sure... but that does not affect an individuals actions when talking to other people.

Games are rated Mature because of the content they contain, not the people who play it
