Not sure what exactly you mean by post patch but the 4-3-2-1 is my go to, works better for me than any other formation. 4-2-3-1 with the 3 CAMs is very popular, probably the formation I come up against most often

The formations 433(5) and 4312 are both solid for build up play since this FIFA emphasizes passing.
