Did you know, that there is literally an entire field that most universities offer degrees in that specializes in travel beyond Earth's atmosphere? I'm also guessing you've never seen a satellite, or the ISS, but you can -- indeed -- see it pass over your house.

Have you ever looked through a telescope? I have. Is the spherical Jupiter I observed a few weeks ago merely a photo planted inside the telescope to fool me? And what's up with the sun? Why do we get heat from the Sun 365 days a year if it is flat?

I am FAR from ignorant on the subject since I am studying Physics at university. Yes, touch is an illusion and what we feel is the repulsive forces of particles interacting but never touching.... this does not mean we would be able to 'slide our fingers through a solid object' because there is no possible way for a particle to fit in-between the space of other protons/electrons in a nucleus because of the sizes.

Please do not assume I am ignorant on the matter

Lets just face the fact that if the earth was flat we would know it by now, but we live in a 3rd dimension so everything has width and height. We are not 2d.

So you saw a SPHERICAL Jupiter? Through your telescope, from the perspective on earth. Im pretty sure you couldnt distinquish between a disc and a sphere from that perspective. Especially when it's apperently hard to tell a sphere from NASAs 'photos'. (According to one of your fellow, spherical earthers).

Overall, I doubt you saw it. Because NASA apparently have to use their high tech telescopes and go through a rendering period just to get a glimpse of what they look like. What you saw was probably a glimpse of nothing.

1) Actually, no matter the slight in bulge, you would be able to see it, unless of course it was like 2km. Then it would be pretty hard to tell. Also ZERO of the images are real, all CGI and edited with photoshop.

3) I never said I believed it, I said its highly likely. So far I'm more convinced its flat then round. Due to the evidence. If you provide me with 1 piece of irrefutable, solid evidence showing the earth is round. I will absolutely believe the heliocentric globe. But it wont happen, because there isn't any.

And because supposedly earth is flat doesn't mean everything else is. Even though NASAs 'images' of galaxy's appear as a disc.. Anyway, the bible says that space itself doesn't exist, and everything exists inside the firmaments. I still have a lot to learn on that side of the subject. So its a massive conundrum.

To be honest. Using quantum physics, scientists found that theoretically speaking, you should be able to put your fingers though a solid object because it is composed of compressed atoms. But you cannot, this has had scientists startled, and to this day no one can figure it out why this phenomenon occurs.

The same as particles behaviour changes while being observed (double slit experiment) and it most definitely knows that it is.

Scientists, physicists etc. All have the most very slight understanding on atoms and particles. They still have A LOT to learn. So you cannot use that as a valid argument.

Basically 'touch' is an illusion. Some particles act like batteries and magnets. Specifically; electrons and protons. Electrons attract to protons, but are repelled by other electrons. Just like a magnet or battery. Considering electrons (-) and protons (+).

When we 'touch things'. It is our brains way of understanding the interactions we make when our electrons meet the electromagnetic field. Ultimately, we are never actually touching anything.

I am FAR from ignorant on the subject since I am studying Physics at university. Yes, touch is an illusion and what we feel is the repulsive forces of particles interacting but never touching.... this does not mean we would be able to 'slide our fingers through a solid object' because there is no possible way for a particle to fit in-between the space of other protons/electrons in a nucleus because of the sizes.

Actually, atoms are made up of mostly empty space, meaning in a theoretical stand point. We should technically be able to go straight through them when even if they are compressed. But because of the build up of electromagnetic repulsion. We cannot.

It also is currently unexplainable why certain particles can actually pass through walls. So maybe you should lecture your lecturer with that ;)

You can observe Jupiter, and every other planet, rotate.

The ISS can be seen in detail through a telescope, and it passes in the same direction in the sky each pass. How could this be if the Earth was flat?

The detail you can see through a recreational telescope is fine enough to observe the Great Red Spot on Jupiter (which can also be observed moving around the planets atmosphere). That is, if you know how to use a telescope.

We accepted the Earth wasn't flat way before the 60's, dude.

So the sun would be in the sky all the time. It wouldn't "set". It would simply almost always have light everywhere because the sun is so far away it wouldn't illuminate just that small of an area.
