Bernie is too old, he will give this country a visual of weakness. He is too frail to be shot at and have an opportunity to run. Trump at least is in a bit better shape, but you want a president that is a visual sign of strength, can get hit hard in a physical way and recover. Remember that guy that threw his shoe at Busch? What would happen if that shoe was steel toed and aimed at Sanders? It could easily kill him. Sure it could kill anyone, but Sanders is a frail old man. ANY job requires you to be physically fit to do the job, and I don't think Sanders is.

And do you remember when JFK got shot? Any president can be killed, and I would rather America had a smart president die half way through their presidency than settle for a dull brute who gets through his entire presidency.

Who is Bernie's potential VP?
He hasn't said yet. It could be anyone from Hillary Clinton to Elizabeth Warren, possibly Kate Brown, Oregon Governor. But it's an unknown at this point as far as I'm aware.

So Bernie Sanders is smart? That right there is what's wrong with America. Too lazy to get off your arse to go to college? Here, have it for free. You don't like guns? Let's ban all the semi-auto guns I deem as people killers. Oh, you are successful in life? Let me take MORE money from you because this bum doesn't want to get a job, so I'll give him free college AND your money. Yeah, what a smart guy.
Honestly, Elizabeth Warren has done more for the progressive cause than Sanders has done in over 20 years. To add, look at the people who actually know him, they seem to be supporting Clinton more than Sanders. Vermonts two biggest political leaders, Governor Peter Shumlin and Senator Patrick Leahy, have endorsed Clinton. That tells me a little something about what he might be like behind closed doors. Its not good when those who should know you best, and have worked with you the most, are siding with your opponent. He has also described himself as a socialist. Being from Washington, I seen what Socialists have done to Seattle. A socialist is NOT a person you want in office.

If a president's term is cut short, does the VP stick with the previous president's policies or push for their own?
Both. Once the president dies, the VP is the new president. Generally speaking, the president chooses a VP that has similar views, so while they will be going on their own feet, they still follow in the same footsteps the president left behind.

You've obviously misunderstood the point I am making. You are saying that if Donald Trump was old and frail but espoused the exact same views you would not vote for him. And if you would then you are a hypocrite. I would rather you vote for old and frail Donald Trump than a candidate who is physically fit but espouses an ideology you don't agree with as fervently. That's the point I'm making, you're saying that we should vote for a less effective candidate (solely from the view of a Bernie supporter) based on age and physique.
And Bernie describes himself as a Democratic Socialist. There is a big difference.

If trump was as old and frail as Sanders you're right, I wouldn't vote for him. Trust me, I'm not happy with the group of idiots we have to choose from, but I think Trump would honestly do the best job in office strictly because he has the financial back ground and little to no political back ground.

So you are saying that you would either not vote or vote for someone you agree with less because the candidate you agree with the most might die during their presidency?

That does play a role in it yes, but based on Bernie's views, his age just stacks up against why I'd never vote for the guy.
