I have chosen these parts for a build I am looking to buy but I think there could be some improvements that could be done to make the pc better and cheaper. *This isn't the PC i am definitely going to buy, just something like that. I am posting here to ask if there is any better i can get for around £600
Thanks

Generally all around looks good. Although an i5 you can't overclock generally doesn't need an aftermarket cooler. you could swap that out and use the extra money to get a nicer motherboard. And I generally prefer Nvidia GTX cards but the one you have chosen is nice too.

Yeah that looks good. Also I notice you have a disk drive on there. Will you be using disks often? If it is just for installing windows, you can do that with a flash drive. If you wanted to save a little more money

What is your budget for a system then? I'm sure something better can be built instead.

Something around £600, over or under that is fine but not by much

That is what I would getting with £600, wireless and disc drive included in the build.

Better case, better PSU, motherboard actually uses DDR4 Ram. DDR3 on Skylake is pointless. Same GPU essentially VRAM wont make much difference that's noticeable at 1080p. Sock cooler will do fine for now and a nice SSD for a boot drive and some games.

How so you need 4GB of VRAM? If you feel you need it then add it. The graphics card will fit in the case just some bays may need to be taken out for clearance of the card.

You definitely don't "need" a 4GB card. However, a 4GB XFX 380 costs the same as the 2GB Strix, so I'd get that instead, as it's only £10 more than the cheapest 2GB 380 anyway.

Definitely go with DDR4, as Dan said. Optical drive is pretty pointless IMO, I built my latest PC about a year ago now, and still haven't needed an optical drive. Semi-modular PSU will be handy, and XFire support, so you can easily add a 2nd 380 at any point. You can use stock cooler for now, and add something a little nicer later on.
