So I want to straight pipe my car (07 Civic, 5-speed). That might possibly happen within the next couple of days. I just got my tags without the county stickers due to buying them in a different county. But once I started to think about it, I might not be able to pass emissions after I do it. Been thinking about doing a cat back instead. What should I do?

but really, don't do that, it's obnoxious and the only people that think it's cool are other ricers, everybody else finds you annoying

It's your car and should do what ever you like, not build it for other people but for yourself

Going off of what you said here, IMO straight piping anything (especially a civic) is against other people lol

Not really. There are many applications for a straight pipe, for example if you decide install a turbo.

Like failing inspection? If you decide to install a turbo most just go with a turbo back exhaust

Hell no, don't do straight pipe, I have had my MK6 GTI straight piped and it sucks, the car is way to loud to drive in the morning and at night, you WILL get pulled over from cops ( I was pulled over twice), and its just not worth it.
