I was wondering what's so good about a gaming pc? I've heard they're good but I want to know properly, what's the pros and cons? How is it better than my xbox one? Is it worth it? If anyone could explain if they're good or not I would really appreciate it.

A gaming pc really has no limits compared to a console. The only limits are your budget. Consoles have very little RAM, just enough to run the games. You can get very beautiful graphics on a PC compared to a console. I have Rocket League on my PC and my Xbone. The graphics are HORRIBLE on the Xbone vs the PC. If you were to get a PC you would want to build your own instead of getting a prebuilt one.

yeah I was planning on building my own, want to get a desk and all sorted first before getting the tower. Would £1000 be good enough to buy decent parts?

Yeah, pretty good budget for the parts alone, although getting a keyboard/monitor(s)/mouse would add to the budget. My keyboard/mouse/monitors alone cost about $800 and my PC is around $1400-1600. But I also have a lot of stuff you may not need exactly in my PC.

I got a keyboard and mouse In my basket on amazon, the monitor is like £300, but after that I'll spend a bit on the tower

Yeah, go for it! I'd make you a build but it would be in USD and Sanctorum would have something negative to say about it xD Just wait for him to show his face and he will make you a build in euros

You could always look at the market on pcpartpicker and just buy each part when it hits a new low on the priceline chart if you arent in a rush.

What monitor are you looking into? I love Asus monitors. You can get a great 27" one for like around 250 USD
[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] search on amazon has loads of great 27" monitors for 150-250 euros
