Ok so this is the laptop I want [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

There are 2 options for it (both have a 1tb hdd)
Should I get the one with 2gb vram and no SSD, then put [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] 512gb m.2 ssd in it.
or
The one with 4gb vram and it already has a 128gb ssd in it.

So its either:
2gb vram 512gb Samsung SSD
or
4gb vram 128gb SSD

Vram isn't even that important as that res, with a 960m under the hood at 1080p, your not going to be using anywhere near the 4GB of Vram. You could probably get close by playing GTA but the lag would just kill the experience.

IMO, go the cheaper option, so the 2gb of Vram and no SSD and add one in later.

@PapaLarge - Re-read the OP's situation mate. This isn't really about choosing the 960 since both laptops come with it
