So recently, when I go to turn on my console, my controller just flashes and won't turn solid to be used. I try syncing it and taking out the batteries and that doesn't work either. After just trying to start it over and over it works after like 7 tries. How do I fix this?

Have you tried connecting it with the wire and updating it?

All xbox one controllers come with a micro usb cord to update it when you receive your xbox one..

Did you try to update your controller because when I did it did the same thing also what I had to do is keep restarting it (make sure it is plugged into back not side) and keep rapidly clicking sync button it should work sometime.

i'm kind of late on this but this usually happens to me. All I do is unplug my console from the back and plug it back in. then I turn on my xbox controller and it should start the xbox one up.

Used to happen to me but stopped, reset xbox (completely unplug for 30sec) and you have to make sure your controller is updated
