I recently started having an issue with my Xbox One's controller, the left joystick is stuck slightly up, not enough where I can really notice anything at first glance, but because I barley play games anymore I don't want to spend money on another controller. (Unless I really have to.) It's just frustrating because it triggers Netflix and that messes with the subtitles, and the few times I do play Borderlands if I go afk for 30 seconds my character has been running off and a see myself dying a lot because of it.

Back on track, is there any quick fixes for this or should I just man up and give gamestop my money?

How long have have you had your Xbox controller ?
If you just recently bought it than contact whoever you bought it from and try to get a replacement.
If you've had it for a while it might of just worn out.

I have the exact same problem. I contacted Xbox and got got a label for a replacement a week before my warranty ran out but I was too busy to send it away so now I can't get another one. I suggest checking if you still have warranty or not for your controller.
You could always ask a friend for a lend of his/her controller if you wanted.

Could be worn out or idk what its called but theres plastic pieces on the inside on each side of each stick. If one of those is broke itll do that and you need a new one
