I know i keep posting alot about this PC build but I keep finding better things adn still wondering if there is anything better... in this build i need to keep to internet adapter, optical drive and hard drive and also dont need an SSD. I have looked online at reviews and benchmarkings of other graphics cards for the price and cant find anything better than this build. I am still spending at the £600 mark, but i guess you are wondering why its over that, its because you get the division with the graphics card so I am basically still spending £600 on the PC and spending 40 on the division which I am going to buy anyway. I want a pc build that can play any game on high settings, or even normal but i prefer higher than normal. This is what i have after after around a week of researching benchmarks and things

At least you're not ignoring all the help you're getting, just seems you're adamant on getting a 970. That being said, the 970 you chose wouldn't be the best choice, as it's an ITX card. The 970 really isn't the best option for a rig with this budget, but whatever.

It's £20 more expensive, but it has a 480GB SSD. This SSD is cheap as chips right now and just because you think you don't "need" an SSD, doesn't mean you shouldn't have one. Literally every single rig deserves an SSD these days. You could get a 240/256GB SSD instead for like £60 if you want to save money, but it's only £20-£25 more for the 480GB SSD. 480GB is more than enough to last a while, and you can easily add an HDD or another SSD if you need more storage. You don't need to buy a cooler, the stock cooler will be absolutely fine, especially since you're not overclocking. If you don't need an optical drive to write to DVD/CD, then you don't need an optical drive at all. I haven't used an optical drive in almost 2 years, maybe longer now tbh, and I didn't even bother with an optical drive for my most recent rig that I built a year ago. Left it in just in case, but keep that in mind. For installing OS and drivers, you can use a USB, and I'd recommend that over using a disc for installation. The XFX PSU is far better quality than that EVGA PSU, and cheaper. 430W is more than enough for a locked i5 and a GTX 970.
As for the 'incompatibility', just use a molex to 6-pin PCIe for the GPU and you'll be fine.
*downvotes with no explanation* k lol.
As for the cooler comments, any Hyper 212 would be a bad choice. Get a Raijintek Aidos, Be Quiet Pure Rock, Cryorig M9i or H7 if you're getting a cheap cooler. Hyper 212 is over-hyped, was good back in like 2011 but compared to more recent coolers, it's meh, it's just well known.

Nasur wrote You should also get a cooler for your build, I wound't recommend using a stock CPU cooler while gaming.
Something like this should do the trick.

If he's going for a HyperX cooler, he may as well get the new one (212 X), which is only $10 more. The temperatures are a bit better which means better overall performance for the future.

When I was building my current rig, I read some pretty shady reviews about that SSD. Have you used it personally? I'd love to pick up a new one, and considered getting one of these originally.
