Personally I'd go with the Type R. We don't get them in the US and I've always been a fan of the EP3. You get to hit mad vtec as well.

Insurance on the Type R will be ridiculous and who tf wants a fiesta?

Look at something with a smaller engine. Specifically German if you don't wanna look like a complete tit.

I'd go for the Fiesta. Yeah it's twice the price, but it's a lot newer, has a lot less miles, and looks better IMO. I am partial to leather seats though lol.

Go get a 2006-2009 Audi or BMW. You won't regret it I promise.

I'd get the Fiesta, I have very good luck with Fords in my time and they are quite reliable
