Could anyone recommend any good PC recording software? I know Fraps is a good shout, I just want to know if there's any that are on par with Fraps, or maybe even better.

Fraps is good, you can also use OBS or often your GPU's software comes with a recording program as well.

My GPU came with Plays TV which is really good.

I personally really liked Dxtory when I used it a few months back. Doesn't really impact performance and it relatively easy to set up.

If you have a Nvidia card use ShadowPlay or AMD's equivalent for their GPU's also OBS is a good one.

OBS is very good - I used it t record some CSGO. I had no lag whatsoever

I highly suggest using the software that is for your GPU. It looks the best and lags the least meaning FPS is higher then lets say using OBS or Fraps. Oh and for the people Suggesting Fraps, you guys are still in year 2006. Fraps is horrible. LOL
