Hi guys I only played the division beta for 1 day just wondering is it worth buying or not? ps4 btw

I like the game personally but quit playing it because I hate grinding.

I like it, but once you get past the main story missions, you have to grind like crazy

everyone saying you have to grind like crazy, i wouldn't say its that bad, ive had quite a lot of fun running the dailies and the Darkzone.
Im currently GS 185, DZ rank 51
so not the highest but im doing alright.
Its a pretty good game, and in my opinion well worth the money

The game is what you make it. You don't have to grind if you don't want to. Darkzone is a numbers game no matter how you look at it. If you have numbers then odds are you win. Very few people can wipe out even 4 weak guys. As long as you work as a team and use your skills wisely, nobody can really stop you.
My rule of thumb is you should get one hour of enjoyable gaming for every dollar spent and I have well over that for this game.

If I do that rule of thumb for division then fair enough its of course worth it but for cod 4 with over 150 days playing time ( that just in a public match ) and not in private matches and stuff like that then

im with you, thats how i look at games too.
But with division its a pretty decent game, the story maybe takes you 10-15 hours if you go about doing the side missions / main story.
Then you have the Gear score + Dark zone ranking.
As mentioned above while going Han solo is possible its better and more productive in a group especially when extracting.
After the last update all named golds now drop a High end piece of gear and some have a chance of dropping the incursion gear too.
so when you extract players pretty much know you have something worth extracting and trying to do this solo is pretty hard.
My advice is watch some vids on youtube if you do get the game, there are some pretty solid builds for Solo running and team builds.
