I factory reset the computer and since then i cant make it past the home screen, any help would be nice. (Its an Acer)

What do you mean by the home screen?

Boot screen, Login?

You need to install Windows back onto the computer. So you need a windows disk to put into your Cd Drive.

Depending on the type of acer he has there might not be a disk tray.

It does have a disc tray but everytime I start the laptop it tells me to put the password in them after it sits on a blackscreen with the curser still active is there a way to download windows without the CD tray?
