The governor was no where near as interesting as Negan is, I would love to see a Negan filler episode somewhere mid season 7.

OT: I'm fully convinced that it's Abraham that died, no one else would take a beating from Lucille like whoever died did, maybe Daryl, but I think AMC are saving Daryl for a whole Dwight v Daryl sort of thing.

I really hope AMC doesn't have a "Dwight v Daryl" thing planned. Although, I'm sure that's just what they'll do.

Dwight is one of my favorite characters from the comics, and bullshitting a storyline and fleshing him out against a character who should have been killed off a very long time ago is lazy story telling.

I'll loose my shit if Daryl outlives or kills Dwight. It's like the writers scared shitless to kill off characters.

Dwight V Daryl would be a pretty cool concept to play with and aslong as it doesn't get dragged out for ever I'd be fine with it really. I can see AMC letting Daryl out live the majority of characters on TWD, he makes them so much money compared to any of the other characters and looking at it from that perspective they would be stupid to kill him this early.

6 seasons deep isn't early and all the reasons you listed is why Daryl is the perfect person for Negan to take out first.
It shows the fans that literally nobody is safe.

In terms of TWD season 6 is pretty early to be fair, with the comic book storyline excluding any new issues we could see at least another 4-5 seasons. In my mind it doesn't make sense for Daryl to have died there are just far too many reasons as to why it's not him.

I have a feeling it was Abraham but then reading what you put, Daryl also comes back to mind.

Found on Youtube a video of a theory on who got killed by Negan and he has some really good points to back it up.

I'm still willing to bet actual money that it wasn't Glenn. It would be unprecedented and a moment diminished.

All this proof could be deliberately put there to mislead. They've done it before when season 3 was about to come out.
They had edited scenes a certain way to make it look like the Governor was wanting to move into the prison and he had convos with Rick about it in the prison yard.

only for the simple fact, he wasn't scared when negan pointed lucille at him and bulked up like he wasn't a ****.

Negan is out to prove a point and abraham is someone who isn't scared of other men, and especially negan.

I could see negan saying "taken it like a champ" to abraham.

I hate that they didnt show anybody but that is my prediction.
