only reason why im saying this is becuse i can do amd sli but nothing else but is it worth to sli and r9 280

Get the 380 in that case as it's cheaper and better than the 960.

You can't SLI AMD, you can SLI Nvidia Cards or Crossfire AMD Cards.

What mother board do you currently have also it's not worth SLIing two 960's at all.

Get a 380, your board supports crossfire so that means you could have 2 380's in XFire if you wish as long as your PSU can support it as well.

yeah the 380 takes alot of power not sure if the evga 600w will support it but im thinking about just saving for a 970

Well 600w would be pushing it with two 380's, one 970 would be wiser but there's no SLI support to add another one in the future. 600w is fine for a 390 and you would have the support for XFire in the future but you would need to upgrade PSU along with it.

proably best to get a 970 and sli by getting a new mobo and i strongly prefer there software like shadow play etc
