I really want to install OS X on my desktop but it keeps getting stuck at waiting for root device but I don't know what it means

ya i have installed Hackintosh on my laptop it was tricky and took along time

You usually need hardware that works with OS X, research around that see what you can do with your parts, there might be some custom drivers (called kexts in OS X) for your computer to work with OS X properly e.g power management might not work properly.
