So I got a pair of Beats (as a gift, didn't have a choice) that I have been using for gaming purposes but I need a microphone to go with it. I'm currently deciding between an external USB microphone like the Blue Snowball and the recently popular ModMic.
Also, as a side note I have thought about potentially starting a YouTube channel, so that may or may not play a part in my decision.
All input is appreciated, Thanks!

my experience with the mod mic didnt go so well, if you have a cheap sound card like me, you will notice that your mic will have a lot of background noise or static to it when speaking. the mod mic for also was apparently, according to my friends, very muffled in team speak.
the blu snowball on the other hand, i have currently, and am more then happy with it. it has crystal clear audio for casual communications, and is a great starter mic for new youtubers! hope this helped ;)
