I'm in the market for a new monitor as the 2 I have now aren't the greatest. I got them a couple years ago when I was novice at everything lol

Looking for the best 144hz monitor.
What would you choose and why?

At PAX East I was playing Rainbow Six Siege on the new Asus VG287HV 27" monitor.
It seemed really good for the time playing but I wanted to see if there was anything better out there (in sure there is) :p
Thanks!

I have two at the moment. But I don't really care. I don't need two, it's just a plus. But one really nice one would work just fine.

I'm also looking into a new monitor for gaming, as I've just recently finished a new high end build.

What you need to take into consideration is your hardware. For example, I'm running a 980 TI and thus G-Sync support in a monitor makes thing a bit smoother. If on the other hand you're running a Radeon, FreeSync or w/e its called would be the support you want.

I just created a post as I'm too looking for some advise, but I've listed two solid monitors, the 2nd of which doesn't have either G-Sync or Freesync support, but its still an amazing 144h response gaming monitor you may be interested in. Feel free ot check the post out at the below link.

Thanks for your input. I am currently running an superclocked 970. I'm thinking about building an entire new PC with a high graphics card but that may not happen. Not sure.

Thanks for the advice on the G-Sync as well.

This is the monitor that I am currently running: Monitor, it is 1440p 144hz and ips with 1ms response time, and its only 500, sure there are a few flaws, but still it is a great monitor.
