That is my build. I got all the parts at a huge discount thanks to a friend who works with many PC companies and was able to get them cheap.

I have £200 to spend, obviously i need a new monitor. I was thinking this one

Maybe even get a 1440p monitor?

There was an AOC that Zayev suggested when i had a budget of around £120, but obviously i got more money since then. So, i need a new monitor.

What else would you suggest i should get?

Thank you

If you're going with a 1080p monitor, get one of these;

Definitely not that shitty Asus TN panel.

Thanks for your reply. The link must of messed up. It should have been the 23" IPS monitor for £126, not the TN one.

Would you think that a widescreen monitor will be any good?

I wouldn't bother with 2560x1080, you'd be better off with a 1440p panel IMO. If you want to go ultrawide, you should go with 3440x1440, but it'll be out of your budget.

Alright, i'll keep my eye on the 1440p. But do you think my rig can handle 1440p? Like, good settings and good frame rate? I currently get roughly 70FPS on Gta v with max settings at 1280x1024 and get as low as 40 when i am on grassy area's of the game. So would i expect a huge frame rate loss going up to a higher resolution?

You can easily play at 1440p. You're not locked in to a 2560x1440 resolution anyway, you can play at 1080p on a 1440p panel if need be. You'll be able to play AAA titles at high settings comfortably at 1440p with a GTX 980.

Alright, sweet. I might have to get a 1080p monitor and get a 2tb HDD and a few fans. I am starting to have some cooling issues with my rig due to poor fans and i am running out of space.

So i will get the AOC monitor most likely. Thanks for your helps
