Okay guys i understand some of you won't agree with what I'm going to say but this is honestly what i think. And I'm saying this as a die hard fan of COD4! COD4 is easily my favourite COD and i always went back to it on 360 until my 360 died
Why i think COD4 won't be like the good old days:
1: Most players are used to the movement style of the current COD's and they won't like the fact of going back.
2. The gameplay will feel very basic compared to the newer COD's for example less customisation, basic perks to choose from, set in stone killstreaks (UAV, Airstrike, Helicopter).
3. The maps will feel basic too, look at how map structures have changed over the years, with the remaster we will be going back in time, so it will feel old and eventually get boring.
4. I feel as though a lot of the fun elements will be removed from the game for example old school mode and if that is included in the game all glitches/ spots won't be do able meaning boring private matches.
5. No third mode i.e. Zombies, as you guys know COD4 didn't include a third mode meaning multiplayer will become boring.
6. Going back to something we've played before, if you guys have played a remastered game before, you'll know that it doesn't feel the same as the first time you played it or when you played the original.
Like i said guys these are my opinions on COD4 remaster, i really hope i am wrong with what i've said and that i can enjoy this amazing game just like i said originally.
Leave you're thoughts below guys!

1: Most players are used to the movement style of the current COD's and they won't like the fact of going back.
Most Players are wanting this game for this exact reason, You do realize there was a time before Call of Duty Ghosts when Call of duty was actually a good game?
2. The gameplay will feel very basic compared to the newer COD's for example less customisation, basic perks to choose from, set in stone killstreaks (UAV, Airstrike, Helicopter).
Again your Veteran players are looking for this raw game play when it was skill vs skill, Not all the unprecedented bullshit of jumping around and customizable kill streaks.
3. The maps will feel basic too, look at how map structures have changed over the years, with the remaster we will be going back in time, so it will feel old and eventually get boring.
Call of Duty Multiplayer was built of the basics of Call of Duty 4, So again please see answer 2.
4. I feel as though a lot of the fun elements will be removed from the game for example old school mode and if that is included in the game all glitches/ spots won't be do able meaning boring private matches.
I highly doubt old school mode will be removed.
5. No third mode i.e. Zombies, as you guys know COD4 didn't include a third mode meaning multiplayer will become boring.
You must have never played Call of Duty 4 when it first came out.
6. Going back to something we've played before, if you guys have played a remastered game before, you'll know that it doesn't feel the same as the first time you played it or when you played the original.
Hopefully they have learned this mistakes with Halo Anniversary.
This is probably the most wanted game of this Year, or World at War.

1. Yes like i said COD4 was my favourite COD but i feel that people will get bored of the old movement system.
2. I didn't say anything about this jumping around bullshit, and plus COD's today are still skill vs skill. The COD4 perks were things like stopping power and Juggernot, i didn't like these perks at all.
3. I'm on about the fact that the maps are more diverse and will feel empty or less enjoyable.
4. No i dont think they will but like i said glitches etc will probably be patched meaning private matches won't be as fun as they used to be with little games like Michael myers.
5. Like i said i've played COD4 before just people are so used too a third mode and will want time away from the multiplayer side.
6.Yeah i hope they have learned from that but not a lot can be done really.

I honestly don't think you've ever played Call of Duty 4 or an older Call of Duty based on your post.

I don't know about you but I played Cod 4 on Day one, This game wasn't build for all that Kid stuff with the new Cods, When I played Cod 4 it was all about Skill and Drop Shots and GB/Clan Battles. There wasn't too much caring for the "Better Game style" or more customisation. The game got bad after all the mods and stuff but even then people still played and try to do GB. You would know this stuff if you play the game before the mods came around. In other words, This game was for Cod Fans that really enjoyed a good Call of Duty game. I'm pretty shocked that no one remembers Drop Shots in this game, So much people hated to get Drop shot. Hopefully Drop shot is coming back.

Most of your points are opinions, so therefore wont be true to many people.
