Got a £400 - £500 budget (Uk based)

I'm currently thinking of new CPU and video card ( and ram upgrade).
But i'm unsure what would be best with the current setup i have.

So if i replace the grpahics card and ram with this?

No need for 16gb ram honestly, 8gb is fine. Maybe change the CPU to an i5 4690k? Also change the graphics card to a gtx 970? Not sure if you meant you have that build +£400-500 to add onto it if not reply and I'll find you a better solution.

No need to buy a 16GB kit of RAM, just buy another 8GB kit and add it to your system for 16GB total. I wouldn't upgrade that CPU just quite yet, hold off for a few months if you can. Broadwell-E, Kaby Lake, and Zen should all be released in the coming months, and those would be your best choices. There's no real upgrade path for you unless you buy a new motherboard anyway. You'll also need to upgrade to DDR4 RAM with Broadwell-E/Kaby Lake/Zen though, so I'd maybe not bother adding another 8GB, if your current 8GB is fine. If you feel like you need more RAM, go ahead and add 8GB more.

A 390 would be fine. The GTX 970 would be the NVidia alternative, but the 390 is the better card.

yes sorry if i didn't make it clear i currently have that pc and looking to upgrade with the £400-500

Why would i need to get a new motherboard, I take it that would only be if i wanted to upgrade my CPU since it wouldn't be compatible. And the cost's to fully upgrade motherboard and CPU and to DDR4 ram are going to be out of my budget range for a while.
