He said that the US should default on it's debt on CNBC May 2nd. He specifically said that we should force US treasury bond holders to accept "haircuts", which is forcing them to take pennies on the dollar of what they're actually owed. It's what happens when a private company files for bankruptcy.
It's worked for his companies, but the only problem with doing this at a federal level is you can't game the system when you ARE the system.

After the backlash from such an outlandish suggestion, he backtracked on May 9th in a interview on CNN, saying that the US could never default on it's debt since we could just print the money.

Hillary, apparently she's going to do something with the gun laws. Hopefully make them a lot harder to get.
