What movie of 2016 is worth saying it's going to be up there for the best of 2016? Honestly I haven't really watched any that had me like WOW I'm going to go back and watch it again.

Captain America: Civil War is my pick for the best movie. Prior to that it was Zootopia or Deadpool.

This is quite a difficult question, but I would have to go with The Hateful Eight.
This script is one of the best movie script's ever written. The screenplay, acting, direction, story, etc. is all typical Tarantino, and Tarantino has continued to affirm the belief held by many of his fans.
'He cannot make a bad movie.'

[Yes, it says Christmas in the trailer, but it was released on the 8th January 2016]

Runners up:
Captain America: Civil War
The Revenant
Deadpool
10 Cloverfield Lane

A couple of my favorites were mentioned already so I just wanted to throw out something that hasn't been mentioned. 10 Cloverfield Lane was a great film. Lots of suspense and misdirection. I was also sort of impressed by The Jungle Book.

SPOILER:

I thought 10 clover field lane was good but I think they just spoiled it by WARNING SPOILER: how they put aliens at the end of it.

I personally didn't enjoy 10 Cloverfield Lane it was odd and pretty much something I never wanted too see in my life, but for my top pick it would probably be Captain America: Civil War.

I thought it was cool how they kept making me change my mind about if the guy is actually crazy or if it's a real apocalypse. The main characters weren't completely oblivious like every other horror movie too, which made it all the more enjoyable. In my opinion it's still pretty underrated.

And of course, Captain America: Civil War was great. Me and some friend are re watching all the older movies and then going to see the new one in theaters. I'm pretty pumped.
