As I am getting ready for Fall semester of college (Yes, this early). I looked at some jobs based on my field and the current pay rate. It raised a question, " What income level is considered "good"? Keep in mind I am a college student in debt but thats pretty much it.
P.S. The census is 2012 stated that the field I am going in makes around $93,350, again that was in 2012.
Thanks,

Well the definition of a good income varies on where you live and the cost of living, So if you lived in my area $93,000 a year is damn good, But if you lived in NYC for example, You would most likely be average.

Any big city, The cost of living will be high, Thats why people drive 1-2 hours to work to live outside the city because it is cheaper. Small towns and you rake in $93,000 a year and people will think you are a big baller. But you can live comfortably on $30-$40,000 depending on where you are in the US.

Can only give you my personal opinion.
For a basic job I'd say anywhere above 25,000 is good.
For a long term career, I'd say anything above 75,000 is good.

what is your field
also depends on where you are making 90k p/year
making 90k a year in nc would be better than making that in va or ny

it really depends on what the standard cost of living is in your town cause ive realized that Alabama has a lower cost of living cause we grow alot of our own food and i make almost 100,000 a year as a real estate appraiser but i suck at handling money so im actually poor lol

good income is a high amount of dollars but it depends on where you live and the cost of living.
