I know I'm going to get so much hate for this.. but..

I find people are voting/nominating for people who chuck the most money into the site. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate every penny some people spend to either keep the site running or just to make people happy, but sometimes it's not about money, or pixels (badges).

You don't need the badge to be a valuable member. It's about the quality posts, the good topics etc. This is a forum don't forget. =) I just personally think someone who engages a lot in topics and provides good responses deserve a chance too.

Rodent_Modz was a highly thought of member and with a high count of upvotes and you aren't including someone that should actually win it?

Seems as you're one of the many people that didn't read the original topic. If you read the original post staff decide on the top 3. The community has pretty much just the right to nominate, up votes don't mean nothing. I could see a post with lots of upvotes and join the club and upvote it myself, has no use. Also seems as if very few read the topic. People were nominating people because of there overall TTG experience, not the month. Possibly the reason as to why Scott and rodent weren't up there? Not only that but very few actually followed the format that was posted on the topic that said it had to be used. I dont see the point in complaining, you don't always get what you want, plus don't expect to get anything if you don't follow what the thread says.

There is a reason the badge is called member of the month.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I don't see why everyone is comparing another badge to this one. It has no correlation in my opinion to it at all other than another reason as to why they should get it. Everyone is missing the point here.

. It was a privilege that I was even nominated Thanks to all the members who support what I do for the site. Staff has chosen 3 good members. Good luck to all! no reason to argue who was picked! And your correct. A lot of people are missing the point and many didn't follow the instructions how to nominate members. Always next month and many more months to win this badge. Those who have certain badges, Are just members who are recognized for things they have done or helped with the site all forums have some time for being dedicated to the forums!

Upvotes and downvotes do not mean a thing. The thread is used to strictly nominate people. From there the staff vote on three people to put on this thread that then you guys vote on. We could have chosen someone with 0 upvotes and 99 downvotes if we felt like they deserved to be voted on.

you should have at least made it to the top three though you, was one of the best if not the best nominations on the post and so was scott i have no clue how you two didnt make it into the top 3

I believe the reason most people are getting riled up is the person they nominated/ wanted to be nominated didn't make the final cut. By no means does not making the top 3 make you a terrible member, it only means for this current month these three people have surpassed the others

Brigand brings his consistent contributions of submissions to the table as well as his past generosity this month.

maDzMufc shows up with his consistent friendliness and helpfulness through out the many sections of the site as well as a different way of giving away to others.

There was a ton of great members in the nomination thread that I would love to see carry on to next month and of course I hope to see some new nominations!
