I hope the rumours aren't true as I've been a long term fan of Johnny since childhood, especially following the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Although the evidence appears to be stacking up against him after Heard presented bruises to the press, claiming a phone was thrown at her by Depp, with that only being the most recent of a string of outbursts.

I suppose it doesn't come as much of a surprise in actors/actresses as by nature they are very expressive and seem to easily let emotions bubble close to the surface, it is possibly one of the key contributing factors to their various talents in the field. Not that I'm am defending the actions of any domestic abuse offender.
