Should I sell my xbox one for a ps4? I have no friends on ps4 but I don't exactly like the Xbox one anymore and would rather play ps4 single or find players to play with. I mean which is better to get ?

I have been an xbox fan all my life never owned a playstation , I bought xbox one 2 years back and it was great but traded it in for a PS4 about a month back because my friends were on it. But IMO xbox is better because it has backwards compat , the UI is much better than PS4 and theres new improvements every month. The only advantage ps4 has is graphics and tbh I dont really notice the difference between the 2.

I would believe it's all your choice, while both consoles have their pro's and con's it comes down to what you like. But in my opinion I would choose the PS4 as you are slightly hinting towards, I own a PC/PS4/XB1 I play my Xbox the most but the PS4 has some better features, games and prices.
First off I would like to start off with the prices, on Xbox when you try to purchase something pretty much where-ever you live except some areas you are going to have Tax on your purchases which is even more un-necessary money being spent on games. But when you go to purchase a game on your PS4 it's tax free no matter the location, that is a big point to me and what would ultimately push me towards a PlayStation.
The games on the console are actually wonderful, from your classic Ratchet and Clank styled games too the Naughty Dog games like Uncharted, The Last of Us.. There is some awesome exclusives and indie titles on the PS4 and of course PS2 classics that you can even purchase to play as well. I feel like the game library looks much better on the PS4 as there is a lot of different styled games, and of course if you're a call of duty fan you will be getting all the DLC for the games earlier.
Finally you said you don't have any friends that play the PS4, but that shouldn't be a problem you can make some or you can even visit the TTG PS4 Community thread and ask for an invite by posting your PSN name, and play with those guys or even just find randoms to play with.. The only downside of the PS4 if you want to consider it a downside is how you pay for the membership as well, I believe it's $49.99 for a year though.

Stay with the Xbox One bro. The PS4 is the worst system I've ever owned and I've regretted getting it everyday since

They're basically the same system, but it all comes down to personal preference.
If you're tired of the Xbox One and want something new to play, then I would say go for the PS4, however, they are very, very similar.

Personally I like the Xbox one, I've got both consoles but the Xbox one is my favourite. It's completely your choice but I wouldn't.
