Im having wifi strength issues with my iphone 6. the device is having a hard time picking up wifi signals and when it does unless I am right next to the router the strength is very weak and drops. It is not my wifi as other devices are fine, any suggestions?

You would need to take it to an apple store to get it fixed or replaced. They are usually free of charge.

Sounds like a faulty wifi antenna. If its still under warranty take it to apple and see what they can do; if not its should be a fairly cheap to repair to have done by a third party or DIY.

Under the consumer laws i'm sure you are entitled to a free of charge repair or replacement for faulty products for up to 6 years in the UK. (Not sure about the US) I bought my iPhone 6 on release date and a few months back it wouldn't charge and they replaced my phone there and then in the Apple store. You can either book into the genius bar before hand but I often just walk in without a booking and am seen fairly quickly.
As BossHaug said above, sounds like an Antenna issue.
Good luck!

It's only free if you have insurance with apple or guarantee left
