So I have a laptop running Windows 10, which I haven't used in like 2+ months, it hasn't been connected to the internet or even turned on. I tried using it today and it gets logged in and to the desktop then after all my icons finish loading I get a BSOD with the following error:
HAL_INITIALIZATION_FAILED
This prevents me from doing ANYTHING and everything I've been able to find online requires me to be logged in to my system (which because of this error I can't do..). Can anyone help me out here?
Edit: pic of error, hope it can be seen, sorry about reflection...

Edit: Managed to jump the gun and start a system restore to when I was still using it everyday.

That error could mean a number of things but since you can't login i would assume something corrupted Windows system files
I would just install a fresh copy of windows that should solve all of the errors you are getting
