My PC specs:
CPU: AMD A8-6600K 3.9GHZ quad
RAM: 8GB
GPU: GTX 660
750w corsair.
Vantage mesh gamers case
Runs arma 3 and all other games fine
Try and aim for a slightly better GPU and that PC is fine, i literally have same specs.

The 390 would be a terrible decision, it's not a good card at all anymore, considering the 480 will release in 20 days or so for $199 and should beat the 390, if not, it will match the 390s performance for $100 less. On the higher end, you have the GTX 1070 for like $50 more than an R9 390.
Your APU is going to bottleneck the crap out of that level of GPU though, and FM2+ is a dead socket now. You should be upgrading to Intel or if you want AMD, wait for Zen.

Crazy_mangoooooo wrote so iff i buy that graphics card it should just pop straight in and work fine ?? (sorry a real noob with pcs lol )assuming you have a sufficient enough PSU and don't have a tiny case that will fit the GPU in.
But take note to what Sanctorum said.
