Trustworthy why? I don't look at rep as "Oh I can trust this guy". If you become fairly well known in a section, people will start to respect you. For example, Magnaflow, 2-step, myself, and a few other people are pretty well known in the vehicles section. People trust what we say because we have some experience with some things and like to help out.

With that being said, I like to put out as much information as I know into each reply I make. A lot of people don't give rep, and I'm guilty of it too. I see useful information and I give it a thumbs up and go try it out forgetting about the giving rep part haha. For me, the "fastest" rep comes by making posts, not people giving me rep.

1. Help out with problems people have
2. Giveaways
3. Go to the shout box and beg for rep (most do it)
4. Sell items/goods etc and you are bound to get some from the person.
5. Hit a good milestone , if you hit one and have a goal for the future some of the nice people on here will help you to try and reach it, but don't feel down if no one reps when you hit a milestone not everyone is as nice.
6. Get known , do this by donating for charity or doing big giveaways like consoles phones etc.

7. Don't be rep hungry be active and overtime people Will appreciate you being here and the rep will build up.

Giveaways

Like most people are saying host Giveaways, Graphics, Helping people out in the community, Make awesome memes and you'll get a chunk of rep. etc...

Provide a service, do a giveaway, just help out in general.

I try my best to help people in topics that im fairly knowledgeable in and Im always nice to people who approach me on the forums but I guess thats not doing it!
