urBeats wrote from the trailer, i can say i probably wont like it because ive never enjoyed the futuristic stuff

and also cod ghosts was amazing, couldnt have been better
To be honest, until I see first person gameplay, I'll save my opinion on it. But you thought Ghosts was amazing? I had mixed emotions on it. It was just a dull game to me. But we'll see how Infinite Warfare turns out.

Sikdope wrote I have actually changed my mind about IW

It doesn't look half bad tbh
Think about it , None of us played the game thus we judge it based on the trailer

And even still, all we saw was single player gameplay. Everyone who complained about the theme of the game were most likely referring to multiplayer.

I actually think the gameplay was great. It was the small things that helped that judgement

I dont think people are upset about the gameplay. They are just mad that they keep going for futuristic games.

I don't think it will be that great. Black Ops 3 was good for the first 3 or so months that it was out, and then everyone I know lost interest in it. The multiplayer is really repetitive. All the maps feel the same, mostly for the fact that they all have the 3 lanes model applied to them.

I'm pretty decent at the game, and so are my friends, but there is no appeal to play it anymore. They do not have anything that awards dedicated players. All the base camos, INCLUDING darkmatter are pointless in earning, once you have some black market camos under your belt. I want to say that the supply drops killed it for me. It was OKAY for the most part in AW because it was a new idea that I have never seen in a CoD, then they started adding the weird shit and exclusive weapons. Mind you I was on PC when playing AW so I didn't enjoy the DLC favoritism.

No flash forward to Black Ops 3 you have a boringly done movement system that will fail on you when you need it most, and a game that try's its hardest to suck you dry of money. I paid for the Black Ops 3 season pass, and got nothing special in return. Sure, you don't deserve anything special, but If I am investing 50 additional dollars to a game then I at least deserve some gratitude. The reason I bring this up is because being a season pass owner used to mean something on many games.

Now, To the point. Infinite Warfare will suffer from the same down falls as the last two CoDs before them. They will be littered with micro-transactions and poor map design. (Think about it, you let Tryarch reuse the same small map in all three of their last games, It makes me think they can't come up with new small map ideas.)
Nothing kills a movement system like not being able to boost up to the top of a building.
I do not agree with charging someone 60$ for a game, 50$ for a season pass (or 15$ for each map pack), and then nickel and diming them just so they can have a new gun that should have been released for free to everyone.

As a final note, the DLC favoritism has finally killed this game for me. As an xbox player, I didn't think it was that bad, but it's a horrible business model. Espically now that PS4 gets MWR campaign a whole month early.

TL:DR: CoD will suffer from the same downfalls as AW and Bo3. This series is quickly declining, and this is coming from an avid CoD fan. Someone who has played them all.

I stopped reading after the first sentence because I knew you didn't read the whole thing. Felt hypocritical, and then read it all. Laughed when you said you didn't read which made me regret reading your post. And even so, you took this topic and went way too far into to. Focusing on DLC and Black Ops 3 when in reality, the main point of this was to not judge a game based off what was initially just a trailer.

EDIT: TL:DR? Was yours not twice as long as mine?

Where I do agree with you that you probably shouldn't judge a game before it comes out, I have to disagree with this. Call of Duty has been going down hill for a long time now and this one isn't going to be any different. All of them eventually end up the same, ass.

What is your point? I don't agree with you and now you feel the need to be a dick about it?

I read the topic. You obviously don't know that TL:DR can be used to summarize a long comment, as well as a long post. The purpose of it is to give a sorter version of my wall of text, but you are too ignorant to notice that.
I gave valid reasons why I am judging the game before it came out. My point was that the game is turning into garbage and I won't be supporting it.
Don't post in the rant section if you don't expect people to disagree with you.

Good point, but exactly like AR15 said, the series is going down and fast. Based on the last two or three Call of Dutys, it will most likely be pay-to-win. Black Ops 3 is like that, AW was like that, so, odds are, IW will be. But, who knows, it could be like AW, or it could be decent like Black Ops 3.

Hope they don't **** up again, if they do, I'm going to Battlefield because they listen to their fans.
