So, I just got a new monitor, and I plugged it up and everything, and it works fine. I try to start up CS:GO and I usually have around 250 fps, and with this new monitor, I'm getting 25 fps. Any clue on how to fix this? tried to update graphics card driver and I also messed about with the video settings in CS:GO. Any help is much appreciated!

Make sure you have the proper Hz set on the monitor.

this could be caused by a few things

your GPU isn't good enough to push all of those pixels to the monitor since you upgraded your monitor from a TV to a monitor that might be the problem

your temps could also cause issues but as you were getting

I would also go through your Processes just to make sure unnecessary things are opened

it would be helpful to know your PC specs / what monitor you got

you also should make sure your monitor is plugged directly into your GPU

Update: I believe I fixed the issue. I was using a VGA to USB adapter that I got from best buy, and that didn't seem to be doing the trick, so instead, I used the HDMI to DVI cable that came with the monitor and all is good. Thanks guys!
