Hello!

I am a primarily PC (with controller for most games, for reasons below) player that owns both Xbox One and a PS4, and have a handicap with my motor skills and as such only can play games with only my dominant hand.
From this limitation I have become accustomed to the controller scheme from the 360 controller, as there is greater spacing between the sticks to use more comfortably as I set the controller on my leg.

Aside from some backstory I would prefer returning to use my Playstation 4, but can't use any higher speed games that use the triggers or bumpers often (ex. Destiny, Battlefield and most other FPS or 3rdP games). and as such have held my controller very specifically for over 6 years when I started console gaming.

So here is a short list of what I'm looking for, if possible:

  • Asymmetrical stick placement
  • Functional touchpad buttons (not explicitly the touchpad itself as alot of games only really use the press buttons)

    Best case scenario:
  • Wireless/battery powered control (no obstructing cable during play) even better if removable; as AA rechargeable are great investment when able, and just a backup battery after the lifespan of a controller is used.

Thank you all, Have a good week.

EDIT: I CAN use normal Xbox controllers mostly well as I have become accustomed to it and the most major issue I have with PS4/DS4 controllers is the stick layout, as my finger has to squeeze into a smaller area.

You should look around for some custom made controllers for 1 hand. A guy named ben heck sells them for xbox and he has made one for a ps4 although im not sure he sells it. Look up ben heck on youtube or go to his site benheck.com and email him about one.

I will loopk into it, but since how the ds4 is for custom controllers, most likely will not be an option. I do accept recommendations of normal Asymmetrical controllers for the PS4 as I have gotten used to holding my controller in a unique way in-order to assist with my issue.
Thank you though, and I will keep him in mind if he ever does PS4 ones
