Hi, i'm looking to build a new gaming PC. But I am not the greatest at picking the best parts

Here is a build I'm thinking: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Any suggestions for improvements (~£1500) please?

Thanks

Yeah I do, currently using a 24 inch 1080p. Will upgrade to 1440p soon haha.

But I think £1.4k for that build seems a bit too much, and doesn't seem right

You can go cheaper but products may not be as nice and may make the pc slow

God no, that's terrible. Cooler is shit. PSU is super overkill. Motherboard is meh, I'd spend a little less on something just as decent. That SSD is a pile of shit lmfao. Don't buy a Founder's Edition GTX 1070, that's stupid. Get an aftermarket cooled GTX 1070 when they're in stock, will be a little cheaper than the Founder's Edition as well. Paying retail price for your OS is stupid, it's a waste of money. Buy a key from G2A, Kinguin, or the /r/microsoftsoftwareswap subreddit for around £20. Optical drives are obsolete, they're so unnecessary these days. Also, i7 is not necessary at all if you're simply gaming.

Significantly better, and includes a nice 1440p monitor.

Is a Full Tower needed, or a Mid Tower is fine?

The Corsair case isn't a good alternative. The C70 is almost the same size as the Enthoo Pro anyway. If you want a different case, NZXT H440, Fractal Design Define S/R5, Phanteks Enthoo Pro M, or Phanteks Eclipse P400(S).
