Hey guys just wondering if anyone knows how to fix this, a task keeps popping up named Windows Installer which consumes around 6GB of my 8GB RAM thus making my PC slow as **** and sometimes freezes for a while. Under the 'Windows Installer' is another Windows Installer task which has a drop down and looks legit.
I keep ending the task as soon as I notice it pops up but it keeps occurring and is really frustrating.
Is this a virus I may have thats creating this problem? and if so does anyone have any solutions on how to stop/get rid of it?
Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks

Yes that defiantly seems like a virus I would suggest to run a virus scan and see if it removes it if not i would just reinstall windows that should fix everything
