im looking to get this build down a little to about £550 or $800.

i am looking for a cheap CPU with at least 6 cores. i would prefer to keep the 1070 but i wouldnt be to bothered if i had to change to the 980ti.

if you have any advice on what parts i should change please tell me.

Why do you need a CPU with at least 6 cores?

AM3+ is old architecture, you'd be better off going with Skylake. Also I don't think you should add a 1070 in a £550 build You're gonna be missing features, just to add a 1070.

i would really like a 6 or 8 core cpu but depending on the price i might need to settle with a quad core. the 1070's on the website are really expensive right now but by the time i get around to buying all the parts i could find one for a much cheaper price.

Good luck fitting a £400 GPU in a £550 budget.
