Upload the image to a photo sharing website and then post the link so we can see it. Or just tell us your system specs. If it's some cheap pre-built, you should just sell it for whatever you can get. If it's decent, you may be able to upgrade, or at least salvage components for a new system. I would definitely recommend selling the XB1 and building a nice little PC instead, especially with all the new hardware coming out and the new Xbox console coming soon anyway.

Not a bad PC at all. Sandy Bridge i5 is getting old but it still does the job. Nice 2TB HDD. Motherboard is meh, and RAM is fine.

In my opinion, your best bet would be to sell your XB1. Use the money from that to buy a nice GPU, like an RX 480 or maybe an RX 470. At the same time, you should add an SSD to your PC. You should also upgrade the case if it's low quality. You should definitely upgrade the PSU if its low quality, in fact, you might have to for the GPU. Then you will have a nice little system. CPU would be your next upgrade after all that, ZEN could be a good option which should be coming soon. Kaby Lake is coming by the end of this year potentially, but I wouldn't recommend upgrading to another Intel CPU, unless it was an enthusiast grade chip or Intel's next consumer socket, after LGA1151 dies. Only reason to go Kaby Lake would be if you had money for a new i5/i7 and could feel your current i5 holding you back.

I grew up with consoles and now last year in August I got my first PC. I dropped about $1400 USD on parts and built it myself. It was a fun experience and quite easy. But, I will never get a console again so to your post I think unless all your friends are on console.. I'd switch to pc. Theirs a million games and graphics (depending on your hardware) can be literally amazing. Hope this helps kinda

Ah yeah. You can still get decent pcs for that much or like 500$ I believe. I am not very good at the whole shopping cart thing. But their are alot of people that are.

You already have a good CPU and a big HDD. Plus your motherboard and RAM are fine. Your case is probably fine, but may need to be upgraded. PSU probably needs an upgrade.

RX 480 will be $200-$250, releases June 29th. RX 470 will be around $150 and should still be a great choice, not sure on a release date but should be soon. $50 will get you a decent PSU. You can get a 240GB SSD for $50. You can get a nice case for $40-$70. So, $300-$425 would be plenty, which is doable since you should easily be able to get $450.

Then you just upgrade the CPU, motherboard and RAM(all need to be done together) when you can, for a new i5 with a decent mobo and 8GB RAM, you're looking at $300, so when you do upgrade the CPU, you'll need $200-$300, but this shouldn't be necessary for a decent amount of time.

You can always start with a basic build and then build upon that when you get more money. It's always fun when you order new parts and get to fit them!

You're going to spend nearly 300-400$ alone on a GPU that can run most next gen games.

DO NOT sink any money into a rig unless you have a stable job and can save up to purchase more parts.

PROMISE you a 500$ rig is shit.
500$ Will get you a maxed out xbox 360 in a PC.
Meaning youd be able to max most 360 games (SSAO, Anti Aliasing all the way up, etc)

Next gen, or newer games however.
The shaders and textures they use (Fallout 4 for example) will run you 300$ is for a GPU to run it on lowest, and that's only the GPU.

I'd stay where you're at.
PC gaming is an expensive an at times un-fulfilling hobby.
Hard to have the best when every week something new blows your old specs out of the water.
