As you can tell by the CPU, this in a non overclockable build. If you did want to OC I will make another build.

You will definitely be able to play games at medium-high settings, and some games high/ultra. You've also got room to upgrade in the future (if you will not be overclocking).

- Good power supply, not going to break down on you and take out your system.
- Nice case, decent features, looks good and spacious
- Powerful CPU, will be more than enough for just gaming
- Decent motherboard, ok features, not the best but will definitely be fine
- 8GB memory, don't need anymore for gaming. Also room for another stick for a future upgrade
- 1TB HDD for storing mass data
- 120GB for a boot drive to make most used programs/games & Windows snappy, and super fast
- Great GPU, fast enough for playing games at high settings smoothly, nice cooler & looks dank (i r8 3.5/4)

Alternatively if you favour AMD, I'd swap out the 970 for either a 380X, or a 390. Your call.

You can pick one up for around $25. You can download Windows 10 from the official [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] website and pop the ISO file onto a thumb drive which you can boot from.

That's not a good PSU, at all. It's a very low quality, budget unit in fact.

Not a single one of those GPUs make sense. RX 480 comes out in like 3 days and will offer around GTX 980/R9 390X performance for $199, this makes the GTX 970, R9 390, and R9 380X all pretty much useless at this point, and they'd be a waste of money. Plus, games are really starting to utilise more VRAM, so hopping on that 8GB VRAM with a 480 wouldn't be a bad choice.

Nice little system. $250 should be more than enough for a nice 8GB 480 when they release. i5-6400 isn't very good due to it's incredibly low clock speeds, so the 6500 would be a far better choice. 8GB RAM is fine, add another 8GB in the future, and then you still have the option to add another 2 DIMMs. SSD for your OS and a few games/programs, you'll probably want to add an HDD when possible though. An actually good quality PSU. Nice little motherboard and case.
