I've only ever played on laptops, and this is my first time building a PC.

Budget & Currency: My currency is Euro and my budget is 650 euro. I can go a few euro over if I have to.

Peripherals & Monitor: All I really need excluding the actual PC is a monitor and a keyboard. I only really play games but i don't need an expensive keyboard. I've worked with a laptop this whole time with no bother

Games: I play games on Steam, which range from FlatOut 2 to Grand Theft Auto 4 and Sniper Elite 3. Currently I can barely run SE 3 on low settings and I can't run GTA 4.

Software: Nothing really from the basics, and Steam.

Aesthetics: I honestly don't really mind how it looks and what size it is. Obviously nothing too big or really ugly, and parts don't have to colour-coordinate.

Rebates/Promos: This only really goes for the US and i'd like to be buying from somewhere closer.

Details: Monitor not too big or small. That's it really.

When: Going to order some this weekend if I can, and some more the following weekend. I have around 250 euro right now, but I'm selling my laptop this weekend also which will add around 300-350 euro.

Live in Ireland so please avoid US sites.

So, you don't really have 650 euros then? Also, there's no guarantee you'd even sell your laptop, so don't rely on that money. You also shouldn't be buying PC components weeks apart, buy everything within the same week, so wait until you actually have the money in hand.

I do have the 650 euro, infact ive more saved up but i was planning on not using it, but if i have to use it, i will. I was just trying to use the money from working and selling the laptop and not what i had already.

Something like that would be fine, add an RX 460 or an RX 470 when they release. You can buy everything right now, and use the i3's iGPU and just add the RX 460/470 to the system when you buy it.

So you're saying to buy everything that's on the list that you gave me and just buy either the RX 460 or 470 when it's released and add it in then? Also, when are they released?

Yup. You should be able to get an RX 470, but the 480 released at a ridiculously high price, so you may have to opt for the 460 instead. 470 should release mid July, and 460 should release by the end of July. I imagine they'll only release reference cooled cards at first(at least for the 470), and then aftermarket cards will be available within a week or two of release.

Alright, seems good I paid the same price for my laptop and it's not half a good haha.
Should there be many extra charges shipping to Ireland? Because the sites are all UK

I'm not entirely sure, shipping shouldn't be too much of an issue. If it is though, I can change it for you, maybe find something closer for you. I just used the UK PCPP because it's the easiest thing to use.

No it's fine, actually. Thank you very much . Should this build be able to run GTA 4 or Sniper Elite 3?

i3 and 470 will be able to play anything, easily. You'll have to turn settings down in some AAA titles, or badly optimised games, but you won't have any issues at 1080p with an i3 and 470, or even an i3 and 460.

GTA IV is badly optimised, so even really high end rigs can't max it out, but you'll be able to play it easily.
