So I have an 07 Honda Civic LX. It is a 5 speed & the only modifications I have atm is a Skunk2 exhaust, some random ass rims I bought off a guy, & it's dropped half an inch in the front & an inch in the back. I want to do either an engine swap or just flat out turbo it. I currently have the money for both so I just kinda wanna see some pros & cons. Help?
P.S. I have an R18A1 engine in it currently (stock)

Pro's: You have a turbo'd car.
Conn's: its still a civic.

I think you mean a B18A1, lol but I have an integra with a B18A1 in it as well. I've looked into motor swaps, but I am always brought back to just rebuilding it and putting on a good turbo
Personally, I would just turbo it. Look for your basic turbo needs like bigger injectors and maybe rebuild the motor gasket wise. Then boost it on low psi until you get a good tune.
If you have the money you will need to invest in better rods and things like that, but on an non-vtec B18 you should be fine if you don't push the boost high.

It's an R18 for sure. R18's come with the newer model LX & can be turboed.. but definitely appreciate the help brother

Civics are durable & can be easily worked on. Nothing to hate about a Honda.

K series swap. I've seen a few pushing high 200's to low 300's without a turbo set up.
