Kevin Durant has agreed to a 2-year $54M deal with the Golden State Warriors. A superstar joining other superstars because he couldn't beat them is weak af imo. Thoughts?

That's insane he'd join them, it will be an interesting upcoming season I thought he was going to go to the East for sure to make it so it wouldn't be the Cavs always on top.

Before everyone bashes me for being a bandwagon, I'd like to say that I live and grew up here in the bay and liked supporting native teams. Now that that's over, I think it wasn't that wise of a move for KD to join the Warriors. I mean why join the warriors when they have multiple stars? As you said, he joined them because they can't beat them. But as you know, he does like winning so that's a start. As far as for the whole team would go, I could see them beating their 73-9 record.

Ehhh they're gonna have some problems offensively. In OKC Kevin was the main scoring option. Now Steve Kerr has to find a way to incorporate him along with Curry and Thompson. He likely will be their second scoring option behind Curry. Things will be kinda iffy at the start of the season.

I do agree with you, I wonder how that'll work out. Although Steve Kerr will figure it out somehow we just have to wait and see. If curry falls off then KD will be their main for sure. It's gonna be a really interesting roster

One of the main reasons I hate the NBA as a whole is because of what Durant did. I understand winning is important, but he's the type of player to jump from championship caliber team to team, and he'll never join a team that is going to be rebuilding while he's on there. I don't like what he did. I would have seen him going to Chicago but whatever.

Pretty pissed off when I saw on twitter I say he was desperate to win I probably won't watch the next 2 years of the nba because of this. I saw a really good comment on youtube regarding this. "Its like karl malone joining the bulls, larry joining the lakers, or iverson joining the kobe lakers." Sorry but even if they win more than 5 championships I won't be impressed that's not greatness imo

OKC is devastated by his decision. I personally think him leaving will bring out the beast inside Westbrook. Can't wait to see how he performs!

kevn durant made a decision that he felt was necessary to improve his career, just so happens that he picked the best team in the league to join. is he really wrong for that?

LeBron did the same thing twice and people didn't bash him as much as they are KD. everybody is calling KD a sellout because he said something like "you're supposed to beat your opponent, not join them." Yes he might have said that but KD is doing what he thinks is right. I support him.
