I want to buy a monitor for my pc as i'm currently using a tv. My pc runs max settings 1080p well so it will push 4k at near max settings. What monitor will be a good choice. not too expensive, £300 should be enough right?

300 won't get you a great 4k panel, so I;d recommend getting one of the better 1440p ones!

That's not how it works at all. 4k is significantly harder to run than 1080p. Just because you can max 1080p, does mean you can get anywhere near max settings at 4k.

As stated above, £300 won't really get you a great 4k panel anyhow.

4k monitors can run your pockets pretty deep depending on the size, but a good 19 inch one shouldn't put you too deep in the hole, I picked one up at auction for $290 USD so try different sources to find a good deal, sometimes you can be surprised by what you find online or even in your area
