Terrible. 212x is not a good cooler, and it definitely doesn't belong a 6700k. Founder's Edition coolers are terrible, and the GTX 1080 really isn't worth the premium over a GTX 1070. 120GB SSD in an i7/1080 rig is pathetic tbh. Case isn't very good at all, and is over-priced. PSU is bad quality, and definitely over-priced.

What's the budget and currency?
What do you need within budget? Monitor, mouse, keyboard, headset, speakers, etc?
Will you overclock?

Sorry I changed the SSD to a 250gb one and I'm not going to be doing any serious overclocking, I know the founders has some thermal issues but can't I just turn up the fanes to sort that?

Around 100-1300 only for the machine btw

If you're not going to really overclock, there's no point buying an unlocked CPU. I would still recommend a budget cooler, but the 212x isn't a good option. If you want the option of overclocking, then get the unlocked CPU and a decent cooler.

Founder's Edition is just terrible, and should not be purchased. Aftermarket 1080s are available anyway.

What's your currency, USD, AUD, NZD, CAD, GBP, Euro, etc? 1300 what?

Also, what's the system being used for exactly? i7 isn't necessary if it's solely being used for gaming.

£1300 max, for the higher base clock at 4.0 and an i7 for more threads at 8 even though it isn't really needed, I really like the look of the reference card compared to aftermarket ones I know it isn't important but I have a problem

6600k would be fine. 6700k really won't be necessary. That cooler is an absolute steal. It's significantly better than the 212x, and cheaper I think. Significantly better quality PSU. Nice case, Enthoo Pro is a nice alternative, and is better quality, but the P400 is still great. GTX 1080 really is not worth the £200+ premium over a 1070. SLI support so you can add a 2nd 1070 at any point. Reference cards seriously suck, they'll be loud and perform worse, most likely throttle. Zotac GTX 1070 is cheap, in stock, and performs very well.

Please don't PM me. You can post your questions here.

The 212X sucks because it's a 212 EVO with an extra fan. Its a 5+ year old cooler design and just because it's okay, doesn't mean it's a good choice. Cryorig M9i, Be Quiet Pure Rock, and Raijintek Aidos are cheaper, and newer than the 212 EVO, they're also easier to install and perform better. None of those belong on an unlocked CPU though, especially an i7. Cryorig H5 is around the same price as a 212 EVO in the UK and is significantly better.
