First of all, it doesn't work that way. USD doesn't directly convert to GBP when it comes to PC components. What you suggested would be almost £200 over OP's budget. It's bad anyway. That PSU is over-priced. The R9 390 makes zero sense. The RX 480 is newer, better, and like $25-$50 cheaper. It also comes with newer tech, and a huge die shrink. 212 EVO is a bad choice of cooler, cheaper coolers out-perform it and are easier to install. Budget coolers like the 212 EVO won't do much when it comes to overclocking a 6600k anyway. Also, OP may have no interest in overclocking, in which case the 6600k and Z170 motherboard are absolutely useless.

Money left over so you can get an HDD if you're going to need it. Don't buy that RX 480, it's a place holder. Get an aftermarket RX 480 or GTX 1060 once they release. 1060 releases on the 19th, and aftermarket 480s should be available on the 14th.

thanks for the help. How much do you think the 1060 would cost? also i'm a first time builder, what about wires etc? do they come with the components?

GTX 1060 should be similar price as an RX 480. If it's too over-priced, then you can just get a 480. You will definitely be able to get an aftermarket 480 for £250, I imagine a 1060 will be around the same. I have no idea what you mean by "wires" and "do they come with components"? What "wires"? The PSU has CPU and motherboard cables. It also has 4 molex, and 4 sata I think, and I'm pretty sure it has 2 x 6+2 pins. Any adapters, you'll need to get yourself, but you might not need any adapters. You'll probably have to buy a display cable.
