Hey guys, I've recently built myself a gaming computer. I'm coming from a console so i have no friends on the PC.. I'm a beginner on CSGO but, I would like some people to play with. So if you dont mind carrying a guy for a little while, add me. Jdubie14. (I'm better than average at almost any game so when I get the hang of CSGO I'll be better than good.)

That may be, but don't expect to come into CS:GO and master it. I can guarantee you that you won't be better than "good." It also depends on what you consider good is in the game, but I consider good at DMG or higher. I am LEM (2 ranks higher than DMG, third highest rank in the game, and I don't think I am a "great" player) Average is around the Gold Nova 3 range. I just consider myself decent.
Just don't have the mindset that CS:GO is like other first person shooters, the skill cap of CS:GO is a lot higher than any other game I have ever played. There is a lot to learn in the game and you can always improve. If you do want to get better quicker I advise watching pro players play as well as pro matches, that will help you... greatly. You will be able to understand the game much more and know what to do in different situations.
As for finding others to play with, just play some competitive matches. Play your 10 matches on your own to get placed and then find some people to play with from there. Make sure they are around the same skill level.

Agree with this. I felt the same that I could pick up most games quickly, that is true but for CS I started at Nova 4, one year later and I'm supreme which is the second highest rank in the game, was close to global but don't play mm anymore since 64tick servers are complete ass compared to 128. To start with just play your 10 games solo as said above as this will be more reflective on your skill, whereas playing with a que might deceive the ranking system. Just focus on aim and as you get better you will understand the mechanics of the game allowing you to learn more and more.
